GRTSB Pledge
Our Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showmen and Boaters’ Pledge
At Ingleton C of E Primary School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all pupils, including those from Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showmen, and Boater backgrounds. Our vision is to ensure that every child shines in their unique way, and we recognise that diversity enriches our school community.
We understand that GTRSB communities may face societal pressures and pre-judgement from others. Therefore, we strive to ensure that everyone in our school is treated fairly and with respect, regardless of their background or identity. As a place of learning and love, we see it as our moral and spiritual duty to stand against injustice and to build a school community where every child can thrive.
To achieve this, we are dedicated to helping all children learn about and celebrate the diverse cultures, religions, and ways of life that exist within our community. This understanding fosters our core values of love, kindness, honesty and respect among our pupils, encouraging them to be supportive and considerate of one another.
